Relationship problems are inevitable. We all have them. And sometimes it’s easier to keep quiet than to talk about them. There are plenty of reasons why we stay silent about the tough stuff. But the problem is this: those are the conversations that we need to have for the sake of our marriage, family and relationships. That’s why, in Shhh..., we’re laying it all out on the table.

You can find out what's involved in becoming a KidzWorld volunteer and ask some questions about joining the team by attending KidzWorld Volunteer Orientation on September 11/12, between the services on Saturday (6:05 p.m.), or between the services on Sunday (10:40 a.m.) in the Volunteer Training Room.
There's no need to sign up, and there's no obligation if you attend. (Just know that you may find out that KidzWorld is the place for you!)

You can probably guess what's involved in this event. Maybe a few strobe lights... a pillow fight... a bunch of food.... (You get the picture.) The cost for the night is $5.

Judgement House is a dramatic walk-through presentation about the truth of people’s choices and their consequences both in this life and the next. But it’s way more than that! Judgement House is an effective tool for presenting people with an opportunity to choose a personal and saving relationship with Jesus Christ. A Judgement House presentation walks through several scenes in a series of rooms, combining to tell a story. The story is a relevant interpretation of events happening around the world today and asks the important question: “What will you do with God’s offer of a saving and personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ?”
This year's Judgement House presentation will be held October 20-22, 24, 27-29 & 31. Actors and tour guides will begin practice in September. Volunteers for set-up will be needed as early as October 17, while deconstructing the scenes will take place November 1 & 2.
Judgement House is annually presented to over 6,000 people in the South Central Kansas community. Many of those people accept Christ after hearing the drama's message. In order to make our presentation effective, we need hundreds of volunteers of all ages and abilities. Read about each of the positions that we're looking for below. Positions include volunteers for before, during and after the presentation. We'd love it if you'd sign up to participate. By helping out with Judgement House, you are helping make an impact for Christ on our community.
Scene Set-Up/Decorating
Volunteers with a cheerful attitude and willingness to follow directions are needed.
Prayer Team
Prayer for participants and attendees will begin 30 days before the presentation.
Speaking/Non-Speaking Actors
This is critical to the success of the presentation. Actors age 5 and above are needed and welcome, however children will need parental supervision to participate. Must be available for practices throughout September and October.
Guides
An audition is required. Each tour group will be guided through the drama. A guide will “set the stage” for each scene. The ability to memorize a script, talk to and be heard by a group and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods will be needed. Must be available for practices throughout September and October.
Registration/Greeter
This is the public’s first point of contact with Judgement House, so smiling faces and a calm demeanor will be needed here, along with legible handwriting.
Security
Security personnel will assist with parking and be stationed throughout the drama route. Crowd control and resolving disruptions by visitors not taking the presentation seriously may be needed. Volunteers will need the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Prayer Walker
These volunteers will walk (inconspicuously) with each group and pray for each member of the group as they move through each scene of the drama. A heart for prayer is as important here as the ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Food Service
These volunteers prepare and sell concessions items. They also prepare food for cast members.
Technical
Technical volunteers run sound and/or lighting for various scenes.
Encouragers
Encouragers speak one-on-one with individuals who would like to make a decision for Christ, ask questions about the presentation or pray for a special need. Additional parking lot encouragers will follow-up on individuals as they leave the presentation and must be willing to brave the weather conditions.
Door Knockers
These volunteers are stationed outside a scene to notify actors that a tour group is entering.
W.I.T. Team
Volunteers for this team will do whatever it takes to help in any way with the production.
Tear-Down/Storage
On the Monday and Tuesday following the presentation (November 1 & 2), volunteers will be needed to take down sets, pack all materials and move to storage.
We want to make sure you know about the following changes in our schedule... mainly because you'll be really lonely if you show up and no one else is here! So, read up and remind your NewSpring friends.
September 4/5 - Labor Day Weekend
Because our crowds tend to change around the holidays, service times will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, and at 9:30 & 11:15 a.m. Sunday. (In other words, we won't be having the usual 6:30 p.m. service on Saturday.)
The NewSpring Band has been in the studio the past few months recording a brand new album, Go ahead. Sing. This will be NewSpring's second album (the first was Unrefined), and trust us... you'll really want to own it. Go ahead. Sing. makes its debut on July 31/August 1, and there's already a copy with your name on it. (Actually, we don't really have one with your name on it... but when you buy a copy, you can write it on there.) So, plan on paying a visit to the NewSpring Store that weekend to make the album your very own.
We also take a “Google earth” view of the Bible. We take a look from a “zoomed-out” perspective at the main theme and plot of the story that the Bible contains to give you a general context to help you as you read and study the Bible for yourself.
Interested? Join us for Starting Point Orientation on September 25/26 during each weekend service in the East Building, Room A. This is a great opportunity to check out materials and meet leaders with no obligation! Register below.
If you have any questions, contact us at startingpoint@newspring.org.
If you love the weekend service at NewSpring, we know you'll love First Wednesday. On the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m., we have an amazing time of worship, we enjoy a special time of taking the Lord's Supper, and then we hear a message from Mark about whatever God has impressed on him.
It's all in a laid-back, more personal atmosphere. We know that on Wednesday evening you may be a little tired, so don't worry, we keep the service limited to about an hour long. You're welcome to bring your kids in with you, or there is childcare through pre-school.
We have an opportunity available for you to help a child (2nd - 12th Grade) go to camp this summer. Your contribution is tax deductible, and even more than that, it is loaded with eternal benefits.
Imagine the impact you can have on the next generation of Christ followers! Many kids make huge life decisions at camp, and now you can have a part!

Get ready for a full weekend of powerful experiences Friday, April 2 - Sunday, April 4
First, come experience Good Friday with us on April 2, 7 p.m.
This service is an introspective and somber recognition of what Jesus Christ has done for us by dying on the cross. We will experience a powerful blend of music, scripture, and recognition of the seven last phrases that Christ uttered on the cross. The service will be intense and somber and is designed for adults. Baby Bay will be open for those children under 2 (check-in closes right at 7 p.m.). Our time together will be brief so if you'd like to come, please make sure you're here on time so you can experience the full 45 minutes.
Friday night will be dark and somber, but when you come back on Saturday or Sunday you'll experience an explosive celebration of Jesus' LIFE! We will celebrate Easter at all 4 of our regular weekend services: Saturday @ 5 & 6:30 p.m., and Sunday @ 9:30 & 11:15 a.m.
Do you have a question that you wish Mark would answer in a weekend message? Maybe it's about faith, life, relationships, money, or anything in between. Read through the questions that have already been asked, and if you don't see your question represented, just add it by submitting your question, and we'll spend 5 weekends after Easter helping answer them.
Beginning this weekend, March 13/14, we're adding a second Saturday night service!
God has done such remarkable things at NewSpring, and we're excited to see the lives that can be impacted by adding an additional service on Saturday night. Not to mention, this will give all NewSpringers a simpler way to "Worship One, Serve One" on Saturday night.
The service times will be 5 & 6:30 p.m., so mark your calendar and get ready for something special.
Is your elementary child interested in making Jesus their best friend? Register him/her for JumpStart—a 30-minute session designed for elementary kids and their parents to learn about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. The next JumpStart sessions will take place on the weekend of October 9/10. You can register for either of these times:
Saturday, October 9, 7:40 p.m., Volunteer Training Room, or
Sunday, October 10, 10:40 a.m., Volunteer Training Room
Hey, we're glad you found us!
Jesus said that anyone who invites Him into their life has a refreshing spring bubbling up inside them. That's a pretty awesome thought!
At NewSpring, our goal is to make a big deal out of Jesus and what he brings to your life. Every weekend, we aim to provide a refreshing experience with God. When you attend one of our weekend services, we believe that you'll feel welcome and leave with the confidence knowing that God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.
What could be more awesome than that?
We'd love to have you come visit us on the weekend, or you can watch a service LIVE online at http://www.newspring.org/live.
Feel free to poke around our site and see what we're all about!

Don't miss this chance to hang out with your kids in their world!
This weekend, we're going to give you a chance to give toward the relief effort in Haiti. We believe it's a God-given opportunity for us to make a difference and show God's love and compassion.
You'll be able to designate your money for the relief effort there, and we'll partner with a Christian relief organization that's doing the most effective job of meeting needs. That way, our money will be effective quickly, and where it's needed most.
Or, better yet, you can give right now online! Just click the button below, and choose "Haiti Relief" from the "Fund" dropdown box.

Thank you
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Starting Point leader! Bill Hybels says “nothing compares to the thrill that comes when you know that the Creator God used you to touch a human life.” This summarizes the experience of a Starting Point leader.
Should I become a Starting Point Leader?
Because Starting Point is so unique, even if an individual has strong biblical education and teaching skills, everyone is not necessarily well suited to lead Starting Point. Please read carefully all the information to follow and if you believe Starting Point will be a good fit for you, complete the online Leader Application found at the end of the page.
Expectations
After our director receives your application, it will be processed and you will be contacted within a few weeks to schedule an interview. If you are applying as a couple, both individuals will be included in the interview. Whether or not Starting Point becomes your area of ministry, it is our desire to help you find the most rewarding place to serve.
Orientation and Apprenticeship
Once you have completed the approval process, you will be invited to attend an orientation session for new Starting Point leaders. After orientation, you will be scheduled to apprentice with an experienced Starting Point leader, which will provide you with a good leadership model and opportunities to lead with constructive feedback.
Leader Equipping
In addition to orientation and your session as an apprentice leader, we endeavor to provide continuing support to all our Starting Point leaders through monthly Leader Huddles, periodic SP Seminars and frequent e-newsletters. These venues not only provide opportunities for you to gain perspective and add tools to help you lead, but is also a chance to share your own experiences and/or questions with other leaders.
Starting Point leaders face a unique challenge. They are charged with leading groups whose members bring with them a wide variety of spiritual backgrounds and perspectives. Because of this, Starting Point leaders seek to create environments where group members can experience community and explore faith. While this goal is rewarding when met, it can test the faith and patience of even the most experienced leaders and requires a distinct skills set. As a ministry, we expect a lot from our leaders. But there are five particular objectives we put before them – five Leader Essentials that are critical to the success of their groups.
Develop Your Skills :: Am I growing as a leader?
The first thing we ask is that you work to become better leaders. Whether you’re reading a book that will build their skills base or going online to learn more about a particularly relevant topic, we encourage you to take the initiative. In addition, we coach leaders to recognize those opportunities within their groups to develop skills, such as facilitating discussion or resolving conflict. Both the leaders and group members win when leaders focus on developing their skills.
Prioritize Preparation :: Do I know my material and members?
Preparation is essential to a leader’s success. Starting Point leaders need to be confident in their knowledge of the material and understand the underlying objective for that week. Given the purpose of Starting Point, however, it is just as important that the leaders know their group members. Leaders should review their members’ biographical information so they have a sense of where each member is coming from in terms of religious background or culture. Finally, leaders prepare by praying because ultimately, God is the one responsible for drawing people to himself.
Promote Participation :: Am I encouraging conversation?
Starting Point is a “conversational environment,” so one of the key functions of a leader is to encourage conversation. Part of this is balancing the tension between facilitating the curriculum and encouraging discussion, and part of it is in developing skills such as active listening and asking good questions. The leader’s attitude and philosophy are essential as well. Promoting participation means modeling vulnerability, transparency, and humility. And sometimes it means being willing to discuss wrong answers or misguided theology for the sake of continuing the conversation.
Cultivate Relationships :: Am I connecting with group members?
Because members join a Starting Point group to explore faith, Starting Point leaders have incredible opportunities to influence members’ faith journeys – if they have connected relationally with those members. Leaders need to invest in their group members: taking the initiative to call, email, and/or meet with individual group members and leaders; being easily available to group members during the life of the group. As we say in Starting Point, if leaders are to help members find their places in God’s story, then the first step in that effort is to understand the group member’s story.
Encourage Long-Term Community :: Are my members in a small group
We call this “Starting Point” because we intend it to be just that – a place where people can begin to explore faith and experience community. Implicit in this name is the hope that group members will continue on, both in their faith journeys and in community. Leaders should be able to communicate how God has worked in their lives through community. Additionally, leaders should actively encourage members to join connection groups or volunteer teams. We believe that life change happens best in the context of community; if we have done well, group members will have experienced a taste of community that will cause them to desire more
After reading the information above to better understand what is involved in leading Starting Point, please complete the Starting Point Leader Application.
We always try to start the New Year off right at NewSpring, and this weekend (January 2/3) is no exception.
In addition to great music, we'll look back over the past year with a "Year in Review" video, and then Mark's going to bring a special message about how to Start Your Year and Start Your Day. We'll be talking about 3 powerful tools that you can leverage to make every day count for eternity.
Plus, Mark will introduce a pretty cool thing that we'll be doing on this site as well, so you don't want to miss it.
What? You're going to be out of town? Well, then, watch it online, during our regular service times.
Weekend Date/Time
Saturday, January 16, 6 p.m.
Sunday, January 17, 9:30 & 11:15 a.m.
Message Title
Capitalize: Making the Hard Choice
There is comfort in the familiar, but it will never get you where you need to be. In today's message, Mark is going to walk us through the story of Ruth, to see how she capitalized on her situation.
Elementary children travel down Route 252 each week with the 252 Basics program.
The Bible says in Luke 2:52, "…and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men."
We all want our children to follow the example of Jesus so we use this curriculum to teach them that:
Over 150 Bible stories, Scripture memory, drama, music, and activities are all part of a joyful and relevant children’s program that will hopefully become irresistible to kids.
You can download this week's papers by clicking on the links below.
In Adventure Avenue kids will hear creative Bible lessons reinforced with creative crafts and activities which help them learn that:
1. God made me.
2. God loves me.
3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Each month there will be a bottom line that will be reinforced through Bible stories, Scripture memory, and a key question that leads the children to the bottom line. Parents are also given materials to use throughout the week to reinforce the weekend teaching.

We have created a safe place where our youngest children are nurtured and loved. We are committed to sharing God’s word in a creative and caring manner. Through these early years of spiritual training we hope to build the spiritual foundation that will inspire him/her to make the everlasting connection with Jesus Christ. We pray for a loving Christian atmosphere and for the understanding and cooperation of all of us as we work together for the good of your child and that everything we do, be for God’s glory.
What to Bring
To help make this the happiest time possible for your child, please include the following items when packing your child’s diaper bag:
Arrival & Check-in
When you arrive, please take your child to a check-in location. By the way, if you have children other ages as well, you can check them all in at once at any check-in kiosk. We use a computerized check-in system for the greatest security for your child. A KidzWorld team member will apply an adhesive name tag to your child’s back and also to any diaper bags or other items, and you will be given a receipt with a unique code on it. Once you have completed check-in, please take your child to Baby Bay where a warm and friendly KidzWorld team member will meet you and receive your child and diaper bag. Please make the greeter aware of any special information that will help in the care of your child such as feeding times, snacks, naps, diaper changes, allergies, etc. In order to provide a positive and secure environment in Baby Bay, rooms close 10 minutes after the service begins.
Pick-up Procedure
We ask that you pick up your child no later than 15 minutes after the service. Upon return to the nursery, we will ask you to present your receipt that you received at check-in. We will verify the receipt with the unique code on your child’s label and then release your child to you. If you do not have your receipt, we will ask you to present a form of photo ID and the Baby Bay director will have the authority to authorize the release of your child. We hope you understand that we give the safety and protection of your child our top priority and therefore, we allow no exceptions to the arrival and pick-up identification procedures.
Good Health
Children who show signs or symptoms of fever or any contagious disease should not be brought to Baby Bay or Adventure Avenue. Please ask one of our volunteers for a detailed copy of our Healthy Child Policy.
Special Needs
Yes, your child can be a part of KidzWorld nursery. Upon arrival, please speak with our Nursery Director, Colleen Mahannah, regarding any special needs your child may require during their stay in KidzWorld nursery. Or if you prefer, you may call ahead and make an appointment to meet with Colleen to discuss the special needs of your child.
Opportunities for Parents
KidzWorld nursery believes the best way for parents to be involved in what their child is learning is to become a part of the KidzWorld team that teaches your child. We strongly believe that everyone should "Worship One and Serve One." That means that each person grows best when they worship in one service per week and then serve in one ministry per week. Click here to see opportunities available for serving in KidzWorld.
You can download this week's papers in a PDF file by clicking on the links below.
Here are some answers to a few KidzWorld FAQ's that you may find helpful.

Q: Who should be baptized?
A: Believers.
Jesus Christ led a perfect, blameless life, and then died on the cross so we could be forgiven. It is only through His perfect sacrifice that we are saved from the eternal consequences of our sin. Salvation occurs when a person places his or her faith in the death and resurrection of Christ. So, where does baptism come in? Not until after salvation. Baptism is not required for a person to be saved. It is a public declaration of faith—the next step of obedience.
(Do you have questions about how to begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Click here for more information about knowing Jesus.)
Q: What is baptism?
A: A public declaration of faith.
Baptism is an opportunity to show others that you have accepted Christ and are now walking with Him. It symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of your salvation:
You accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
You shared in His death and resurrection. (This is illustrated by going under the water, and rising up again—you let your old life of sin die, and then began a new life.)
You were symbolically washed clean and your sins were forgiven by Jesus' death on the cross.
Q: Why does NewSpring Church fully-immerse during baptism?
A: Jesus modeled immersion for us in the Bible.
We believe Scripture shows that Jesus modeled immersion for us as the way to publicly declare our faith in Him. All the baptisms in the Bible indicate that those being baptized entered the water. In fact, the word baptism literally means, "to dip, to plunge, to submerge or to immerse."
Q: Does NewSpring Church baptize infants?
A: No.
We understand Scripture to teach that only professing believers qualify for baptism. Baptism does not make you a believer… it is a public declaration that you already believe.
Are you ready to be baptized? Learn about our simple process.
Want to connect with other NewSpringers? Interested in joining a Connection Group? NewSpring Connect is the place for you.
The next Connect will happen on Friday, August 27 from 7-9 p.m. This large group meets in the 252 Theater and is open for anyone to attend. It's a great way to make lasting connections with other NewSpringers (and there are free snacks and drinks). Plus, if you're interested in joining a Connection Group, you can meet facilitators that have openings in their groups, or you can create a group with the people you meet.
And just as a reminder, there won't be any childcare for this Connect, so make sure you plan accordingly.

At NewSpring Church, we believe it is the role of God-followers to help those in need around them. That is one of the reasons why we financially support local organizations who are already doing an effective job of helping those who are hurting.
Instead of doing large projects sporadically to help those in need, we encourage NewSpringers to invest in the lives of the people around them on a continual basis. God is always faithful to bring people to your attention who are hurting. Sometimes, it is difficult for us to stop from our busy-ness and help them. We would rather just donate to big causes.
Well, this is where the "rubber meets the road" for a follower of Jesus. Everyday God places people in your path that you can either choose to treat as an interruption or as a divine opportunity to make a difference in someone's life!
In 2009, Mark preached a series called "Say Yes!" which helps us see how God wants to use us to impact people for eternity. We would encourage you to watch those messages or download the mp3s and listen to see what God might say to you.
At NewSpring, it can feel a little overwhelming knowing where to start making friends. There are many ways to make friends, but none are more personally meaningful or as long-lasting as becoming part of a Connection Group.
Couples' groups usually have 5-6 couples and are formed based on common needs such as location, night of the week or stage of life. The best way to get the process started is to sign up for NewSpring Connect, a large group that meets every so often, where you can introduce yourself to others in a no-pressure environment.
For Singles, we have three large groups that meet on specific nights. Head on over to the Singles' page to get the schedule.

When Jesus began the church before he left the earth, he commissioned all Jesus-followers to take the good news around the world. At NewSpring, we treat that calling very seriously.
Not only are we spreading the gospel here in the Wichita and surrounding areas, we're also spreading the good news about Jesus across Kansas, across the United States, and all around the world. We call this effort, Missions. Right now, as a church, we support over 200 individuals or organizations that are spreading the news about Christ's love around the globe. These people are making an impact for Jesus Christ.
One of the ways we spread the gospel here locally and state-wide is through Judgement House, our annual walk-through drama, and through our Television broadcasts. Each year, thousands experience Judgement House, and many of those make a decision to place their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. In 2009, over 1,000 people gave their lives to Jesus!
Each weekend, our broadcast is seen by thousands of families across Kansas on KWCH, Channel 12 on Saturday at midnight and Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m.
We support our missionaries by the giving of NewSpringers who give specifically to missions over and above their regular tithe. We believe that it is an unbelievable eternal investment for anyone who wants to see a huge return on their assets. We give now to reap an eternal reward later.
It’s Easy.
You will find NewSpring Church's online giving system comfortable, familiar and very easy to use. Regardless of age or computer knowledge, this system is user-friendly and easy to track.
It’s Convenient.
Simplify your monthly tithe and other contributions by setting up an account to automatically withdraw your contributions each month from your credit card, checking or savings account. You can modify your account, track your giving anytime, and export records to Excel for your personal record-keeping.
It’s Secure.
Online giving is actually more secure than checks or cash. With this system, you won’t have three or four different people processing your paper checks or cash. As soon as you click the link below you enter a secure, fire-wall protected server that is not available to the public. From there, your gift is electronically transferred directly to NewSpring's bank and the information about your transfer is sent directly to NewSpring's internal records.
Q: Why should I give online?
It's a personal preference, but here are a few of the benefits we hear frequently:
Q: How do I give online?
Q: Why did nothing happen when I hit the "Give Online" button? The “Give Online" button pops up the online giving dialog window.
If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most browsers also have an internal popup blocker that can be enabled or disabled. In order to use interactive features you will need to allow pop-ups for this site.
Q: When would this automatic contribution be charged to my account?
On the signup screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, every other week (bi-weekly), twice per month (1st and the 15th), monthly, quarterly or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.
Q: Can I test this by giving one time?
Yes. You may test Online Giving by selecting “One Time” in the frequency drop down box of the signup process.
Q: How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?
At any time you can view your record of "online" giving. Just go back to the online giving page and use the “Give Online” button to open the online giving pop-up window. Your giving history for the current year will show up at the bottom of the screen. There is also a drop down menu that allows you to view giving from previous years. We also send year end statements directly to your home address.
Q: I have created an account, but I don't see my giving history?
Once you create an account online, we need to link your web account with your existing contribution account. Please allow 3-5 days for this feature to be active. From that point, you'll be able to view your contribution history each time you log in.
Q: Can I give online to Missions?
Yes. Simply select Missions fund when you are scheduling a contribution. The computer will do the rest of the magic.
Q: Can I use my debit card or credit card?
Yes, as long as it's MasterCard or Visa.
Q: Can I use an electronic check?
Absolutely. Simply indicate that on the scheduling screen, and supply the correct information.
Q: Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
Contact our Finance Department at the church office 316.630.8500 x. 245 or finance@newspring.org and we'll be glad to answer any other questions you may have.
Security of your financial information at NewSpring Church
We use an online database called Fellowship One. Their system allows us to provide access to your contribution records and allows you to make donations online. They provide all of the security for the system. This system is used by churches throughout the country and has been fully tested by them. There are two aspects of security related to the system.
First, Fellowship One provides data security using the latest security technology. The following statement is from their security documentation: "[the system] utilizes the most current encryption technology to maintain the security of your data. Every parameter passed in the hyperlinks is fully encrypted. Additionally, the Login module handles passwords using what is known in technical terms as salted hash. In laymen’s terms, this means it would take 50 computers (running constantly) continuously presenting password combinations four years to discover the password."
The second aspect of security relates to account creation. When you first create a new account in the system, you will be able to donate immediately, but you will not have access to any previous contribution information. Before that can happen, we must manually link your previous information to the account you created. In order to verify the authenticity of the account request, we will ensure that all of your data matches our current records (e.g., address, phone number, and email address). If there is any question, we will contact you via email before creating the link.
Since this is a manual process, we will perform these steps approximately once a week, but if you would like to speed up this process, you can send an email to finance@newspring.org. When you create your account, you will determine your own login id and password. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. If you need help or cannot remember the email address you used, you can contact us at finance@newspring.org. You can also change your password at any time.
Please help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see.
NewSpring will never call you to ask for your login information.
Our Policies
Your information is held securely by the Fellowship One system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact us at finance@newspring.org.

As shocking as it may be, God wants a relationship with you. He created you for a relationship with Him. The problem is that we can't have a relationship with Him apart from accepting His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God's son, and He became a man in order to die for the sins of the human race. He offers eternal life and the freedom from the payment of sin to all who will believe on Him. Only through Jesus can you have a relationship with God.
Here are some simple steps so that you can begin that relationship right now:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Christ means God has forgiven you and you will spend eternity in Heaven. The Bible tells us, “But if we confess our sins to Him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” (1 John 1:9 NLTse). If you made that decision today, would you let us know. We would love to give you some free resources that will help you learn more about the new life you have because of Jesus Christ.
We just want to cut to the chase. NewSpring is a big church. There are a ton of people every weekend. So, we want to give you a few tips on how to make friends and get plugged in.
Casual Atmosphere
When you visit NewSpring Church, dress casually and comfortably! We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.
Friendly People
We strive to create a friendly, comfortable environment. We won't make you wear a visitor badge, stand up, or stand out in any way. We want you to check us out without being singled out.
Family Environment
We also have exciting programs for kids of all ages, including a clean and safe nursery for birth through 2 years. We use computerized check-in to ensure the safety of your child.
Relevant To Your Life
Our goal is for each service to be fun, creative, and relevant to your life. Our services begin with high energy praise and are followed by a creative and relevant message by our pastor, Mark Hoover. Each service allows you to not only encounter God, but equips you for the week ahead.
A Place For Your Kids
Your children, no matter their age, will take part in a fun-filled age-appropriate service designed just for them. These children's services are high-energy experiences that include games, toys, prizes, multimedia, and a caring staff! Your kids will beg you to come back each week! Click here for more details on KidzWorld.
Watch on TV or Live Online
If you are in the Wichita area, you can also watch Mark's messages on Kansas CW (channel 33) on Fridays at midnight, or on KWCH (channel 12) on Saturdays at midnight. You can also watch us live during any of our weekend service times at newspring.org/live.
Our purpose is to help people make an eternal connection with Jesus Christ and with others in order to grow strong to produce fruit for the kingdom of God. Our strategy is to accomplish this by creating joyful, relevant, irresistible environments led by skilled staff and dedicated volunteers.
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. Genesis 1:1, 26-27 & 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Born of the Holy Spirit and Mary, a virgin, God and man at the same time, Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5 & 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; I Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6 & 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1
Eternal Security
Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security. John 10:29; II Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25 & 10:10-14; I Peter 1:3-5
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily. II Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13 & 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 2:12 & 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18
The Bible
The Bible is God's Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error. II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105,160 & 12:6; Proverbs 30:5
Man
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." This attitude separates man from God. Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2
Eternity
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence. John 3:16; I John 2:25 & 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15
Senior Pastor
Our pastor, Mark Hoover, has been leading NewSpring Church in Wichita, Kansas for over 25 years. If you've ever heard Mark speak, you know that God has given him a remarkable way of communicating life-changing truth on a practical level. We hear over and over again from people who come, "It was like he was just talking to me." The bottom line is that you will never leave a service at NewSpring without having some truth from God's Word to apply to your life.
Mark is a dynamic leader, a master communicator, and most of all, he's a passionate God-follower.
We'd love to have you come see Mark in person, but if you can't, you can also watch him on television if you're in the Wichita area. You can pull up many of his past messages anytime at newspring.org/media, or watch live on the weekends at newspring.org/live.
